When I was 6 years old, my 62 year old grandfather died of a brain tumor. During the immediate days and years after that I remember watching my grandmother go through, what I would imagine, to be her toughest years. As I observed her during those growing up years, it became apparent to me that she was very clear on three things. First, taking care of her family was her number one priority. I am sure money was tight and the future was more than uncertain but she always made sure her children and grandchildren had all their material needs taken care of. Through her love for her family and her steadfast spirit we all made it through. Second, she had faith. She understood there is always a purpose or reason to our adversities in life. This is something I have learned with experience over the years. I now grasp the kind of character it takes to live this way. Lastly, my grandmother knew what she valued and cherished, and she has lived those values each day.
I share this story about my grandmother with you because over the years, her quiet strength has left an indelible mark on me. One, to this day, has given me a desire and a conviction to work with people and families facing certain adversities such as a loss of spouse, divorce, or an unexpected inheritance. No one should go through life’s, often unexpected, adversities alone. It’s because of my grandmother’s experience with the loss of her spouse that I have realized my passion is in helping people during these stormy times.
My goals are to provide each of my clients with greater satisfaction, to help people sort through their financial affairs, to protect what they have, and to manage their money wisely. At Legacy Wealth Management we strive to SUPPORT, EDUCATE, SIMPLIFY, and EMPOWER our clients. I believe that these four key business principles can provide the satisfaction that we each individually long for.
I began this business with a simple mission; to help people financially who are walking through a life event or transition. My hope is that their financial matters are diligently cared for and that their legacy will live on through future generations.
